Robomaniacs and Airbots Advance! Helping Hands get Judges’ Award!

Innovative Solution award

The RoboManiacs won 2nd place in the Innovative Solution Category for FLL NorCal Championships on Feb 3 2013. Great Job, Team!

On Saturday, all 3 Robotics teams from White Hill Middle School competed in the first round of this year’s First Lego League “Senior Solutions” tournament. After a long day running 4 timed robot runs, and presenting to judges about their solutions, robots and core values (“coopertition”, gracious professionalism, and team building), teams Robomaniacs and Airbots were allowed to continue to the Northern California Championships. Team Helping Hands received the Judges Award in recognition of their excellent work.

In the robot competition, Robomanics (Team 7841) came in fourth place with a score of 195, Helping Hands 155 points, Airbots (Team 7828) 90 points.

Thank you to the Coaches Nate MacDonald, John Schuster, Jon Marchant, and Andrew Maley, as well as to all the parents who have supported the teams and helped them along the way.
